What do you do if you lost your iphone on college campus?

Uhm… I don't know what to do, i mean i miss place my phone and now it gone i mean i was in the bathroom changing for pe and forgot my iphone 4s and i don't know what to. I went to campus polices and they don't have it and now i'm afraid what would happen when i face my mom T-T please help. Is there an way to find your phone in a day my phone don't have wi-fi or for some reason my ring tone doesn't work so i don't who pick it up. Plus i'm afraid that person might kept it and don't return it to the campus polices. So how to find your phone in a large campus (merced college). Please help when i'm still alive lol jk jk moms are scary when their angry. T-T

I would disconnect the phone first and then explain what happened to it… I once left mine in the bathroom. I got lucky because someone looked in it and saw that it belonged to me. Good luck. P.S. Lying won't get you much especially if you are caught in it later.

You didn't install the "Find My iPhone" app, I'm thinking? Do that for your next phone. It'll help.

I would try putting up flyers around campus, and posting on any campus online forum that exists (Facebook, etc.) You could try offering a small reward. It's possible someone picked it up and didn't get a chance to turn it in to security yet, or they didn't know to do so. It's also possible that someone took it, and your flyers might get them to return it.

Seems you are more worried about your mom that your phone. You better start thinking how will you tell her and what will you tell her. Maybe a modified lie that few phones were stolen from school will help you facing your mom.

Track it, and call your phone service provider As soon as possible.
