I prefer the galaxy S3. But I have the Samsung Galaxy s3 so I guess I'm biased

I own both. Not because I want to but I orginally have an iphone but my sister bought me a galaxy for my birthday a few months ago. Since then I picked the Galaxy. The Galaxy looks much better but to me it has very similar features than the iphone but it has a faster internet and better picture quality.
- Why do people prefer the samsung galaxy s3 over the iphone 5? The iphone 5 is more durable, faster and has better apps. It has beat the galaxy in online reviews, so why is the galaxy still preferred?
- What is a good phone, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S2, or Samsung Galaxy S3? I need a new phone and I'm wondering which I should get. My friend is selling his GS2 for around 50 Bucks and I could possibly get an iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3. Can you tell me the prices with and without the plan. And for people that have these phones could you tell me how good it is and which carrier(Sprint, Verizon, At&T)?

I can't decide between the iPhone 5S, the iPhone 5C, the Samsung Galaxy S4, or the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I kind of like the Note 3 because it is big and the features are very cool. But I'm not sure which one to get? Do you guys have a suggestion? Like which one I should get. Please don't recommend another phone besides these four.
