What does apples one year warranty cover? - 1

I recently got a free iPhone 4 from sprint with a new 2 year contract. It's almost 2 months old, and I went to take the charger out and my whole charger port came with it. Other than that there's no damage to the phone does apples 1 year warranty cover this? If not or so is there a cost? Roughly. My sprint store apple should cover it since there isn't water damage, but I wanna make sure before I go all the way to the store to just find out they don't.Ps I didn't get insurance with the phone but they said it was okay because apples warranty.

Apple don't warranty covers accidental damages.
If It is not your fault they will repair it.
You must get an insurance because it covers every thing.

  • Will the one year warranty on my iPhone camera damage? I didn't buy AppleCare, but my phone still comes with a one year warranty regardless, right? If so, does that cover like the blurriness of the camera lens? Like I did nothing to it, it just randomly starting taking blurry pictures and if you compare it to another iPhone you can tell the quality is different.
  • Will my 1 year warranty for iphone 5 cover a broken charging port? I've had my iphone for less then a a year I've had it 6 months and the chargin port is broken the cable still works fine I've tried more then one cable and it is the port will it cover it I didn't break it it's just happened and at first I thought it was the cable then it just kept getting worse
  • Will apple still cover me with their 1 year apple warranty? My uncle gave me his iPhone 4S as a gift, it has warranty until November 2013 and for some reason the phone turns off by itself about every 3 hours! The phone does not have any water damage as the water indicators are white, will apple still cover me on fixing it or giving me another one since I'm not the original owner but the phone is still under their warranty!
  • What pops up when Apple checks your iPhone one year warranty? Like besides if you still have it or not, like what shows up? They don't get anything like my phone info within my carrier (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.), right? Or do they? And they check with your phones series number, right?
