What does iPhone assistive touch mean?
I fell in love with a used iPhone 4 on Amazon and the description says the on/off button doesn't work but you can use assistive touch to turn it on. What does this mean and if the phone is off, how do I change the setting to assistive touch?
You plug it into charging and the device will turn on. And then you can change those from
Settings > General > Accessibility > AssistiveTouch > Slide the switch to On
but then again if you switch the phone off or display turns off after some time ( again can be changed from settings menu) you have to again plug it in a charger.
The Assistive touch stays on as long as the screen is on.
out of context but i suggest you don't buy it or if you do. Consider getting the button replaced. Obv. The economics have to be considered.
- What does this mean: Free Msg: Receiver unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active mean on iPhone's iMessage? I tried sending my friend a text and it replied with this. We haven't gotten into any fights and we hung out for hours recently. Has she blocked me?
- What does it mean if part of an Iphone touch screen is unresponsive? Only the right side of my Iphone isn't responding. I can only get passed the lockcode which is a struggle. (7-6-7-3) 6 and 3 are really hard to press. There's no pixelated or white lines running down it, it looks perfectly normal. So can someone tell me what it is?
- There's no Assistive Touch on my iPhone I have an iPhone 3g and my power button on the top broke and is unable to use. I heard there's something called Assistive touch and i can get it by going on settings>general>accessibility but there's no Accessibility option. Is there a way i can get it?
- Should I use Assistive Touch on my iPhone 7? Does the iPhone 7 home "button" spoil like previous generations that have a physical button? Since it's a sensor.
