Hi you may have a damaged dock connector if the iphone is under a year old your warranty should cover it, you may also have a dirty dock, use a dry tooth brush an give it a little brush
As annoying as it might be, every time I get this error I unplug it (from the phone not the USB port) and quickly plug it in. Usually after about 4-5 times it works. Today I pushed it into the phone end hard and it works. Its annoying and it changes its actions every day… But it ends up working and then life goes on.
- Why does my iphone shows that charging is not supported with this accessory? I think I had my phone plugged in to my laptop for more than 2 hours and it hasn't charged fully. It's like 32 percent charged since I plugge it in. And now it says the above question. I don't know why?
- Why does my iPhone say my charger is not supported with this accessory? If tried canned air changing my charger check for iOS updates but know change I'm starting to think my my charger is not compatible with the iPhone 3GS
- Why does my iPhone 3 say 'Charging not supported with this accessory'? So recently my ipod got stolen, and my friend decided to give me her old iphone 3 to use instead. I used my old ipod charger with it, and it worked but then i updated the software to iOS 6.1.6 and it wouldn't charge in an outlet anymore, it is only able to charge when i connect it to my computer. I already searched online about this and someone said to put the phone onto airplane mode then charge it in an outlet but that didn't work. Any suggestions?
- Why does a message on my iPhone keep popping up that that This accessory may not be supported? Why does a message on my iPhone keep popping up that that "This accessory may not be supported"? I'm charging it if that makes a difference but I'm using the charger that came with the phone.
