What does it mean that my API key is disabled?

I'm using iPhone 4 ios 6.1.3

An example
someone creates a website
on a webpage at that website they use a Google feature like GoogleMaps
to use features on any map they create they have to use the API library
to do this you have to apply for an API key(like a PASSkey value like your Wi-Fi.

Each time the webpage is opened the GoogleMaps API will
check the API key. If it is not Current and Valid, you get a message like that.

This can happen because.
1) you paid for it, and your payment period has expired
2) it was free, but Google have been busy and needed to change the API library… And now your version is out of date, so you must check your webpage code… And alter it for the newer version of the API and apply for a new key
there may be other reasons

when i say YOU i mean the Owner/Creator of the website you are Browsing
so its a problem with the code you are choosing to look at

Did you jailbreak it? Its application program interface. If you have not jailbroken it you can call apple and they will enable it. Or do a bunch of reading to figure out how to fix it.
