What does it mean when a girl sends me lots of smiley emojicons?

Ok so there's this girl i'm friends with (she's my younger sisters friend, that's how I know her). We don't text each other a lot (probably only once a week, sometimes not even). But when she does text me, she always sends lots of smiley emojions (the smiley picture things on the iphone). Sometimes she will send regular smileys like this: ":)", but it's usually emojis. What is she trying to say with all these emojis? Like last night, we hung out just the two of us for the first time ever for like 2 hours (just to the mall then ice cream) and when I got home, I just texted her saying "had funn tonight thanks for coming", and she replied with stuff like "samee had so much fun, thank you" with emojis after that (once in a while. Faces). Does this mean she's into me? I've always thought she might have but never knew. By the way, I'm 19, she's 16 almost 17

All answers are appreciated.

That usually means she's 12 years old.

Girls usually put a lot of smiley faces in their texts… I should know because I'm one:3
It's nothing to worry about, it's completely normal, and it probably just means she's in a good mood.

Well, girls do that sometimes. I do that all the time I send smiley faces not because I like the person but because I'm peppy. So maybe try asking her.

  • Where is the button for smiley faces? I just got an IPod 4th generation and on things like Instagram and Facebook I'd like to but smiley faces but I can't figure it out! Is there even smiley faces like there are on iPhones?
  • What does this smiley mean? ({})? It followed a kiss:* smiley. So it might be related. Message was received from a blackberry to an iphone. It could also be a blackberry specific emoticon. Any ideas?
  • What does it mean when a girl doesn't thank you for a gift? Basically I got this girl I really like a nice $40 custom Iphone case. I didn't hand it to her directly because she left school before I could, so I left it in her locker. After that, I never heard from her again, so recently I asked her if she like her gift, and all she said back was, "Yeah. Thanks." What does this mean? Have I done something wrong?
  • What does it mean to be basic? Like a basic white girl? If someone was a "basic white girl" or "basic," what do they do, or how do they act?
