What does it mean when you get a call on your iphone from a number in a foreign country?
Before on my iphone i got a call out of the blue from a caller in california, i'm in the uk… A strange number that i don't know… Calling me from hawthorne california, i didn't answer it, because i didn't know who its from and i don't answer strange numbers who call in general.
this is the first time this has happened on my iphone and just want to know what it means?
and is there a way i can block numbers like this on my iphone from people i don't know in a foreign country, when i know no one from there?
Probably a telemarketer or a company that somehow got your phone number
Who knows? You have the right policy. Don't let your curiosity get the better of you. Same applies to emails…
It just means that some scammer calling you. Ignore it or block it.

- If you txt or call a number on your iPhone will it show up on your bill? I'm wondering if you txt or call a person will it show up on your bill when if you have unlimited txt and talk I meant when you have unlimited call and txt
- If someone blocks you on iPhone and you hide your caller id and try calling, does the call work? If I hide my caller id will the call be completed or it will go straight to the voice mail? If I leave a voice message with a hidden caller id, will that person get the message?
- If I want to use SIM card for Verizon in foreign country, what kind do I buy? I want to travel to another country. I have Verizon iPhone 7+ in America. What should I know when buying a SIM card in a foreign country to avoid international fees and roaming? Do I have to buy a CDMA SIM card? Will I get a new number? Will I have to download my apps again?
