What does the apple symbol with two lines mean?
My dad accidentally washed and dried his iPhone and he clicked the power button and now the black screen with the apple symbol is showing and it has two lines in it that resemble clock hands. He wants to know what this means. He has an iPhone 5
It means it is time to buy a new iPhone, plus don't be lazy and then empty your pockets at night.
Clock hands? Thats unusual, if it still works i don't think it means anything important but then again it may just be water damage, if its not showing any strange behavior i don't think you should be worried too much
It means he done busted his phone.

- Why doesn't my iPhone show the 4G symbol but it shows the LTE symbol? I have Verizon as a carrier, and I just aksed this question but didn't ask it right. YES I HAVE 4G LTE. I've had the phone for 2 months and have been many places with it. It only shows the circle, 3G, and the LTE symbol, but not 4G or the Edge symbol. If anyone knows why, please let me know.
