What does the do not disturb switch do?
On my IPhone, I wanted to see what the "Do Not Disturb" button does. Everything worked, messages, emails, and calls. What does it do?
Lol. Ok the "DO NOT DISTURB" means no calls from any contact except the ounces you've chosen whenever the button is turned on.
Mine is set with 12am - 5am I can only receive calls and messages from my Fav list contacts. It helps allot mostly when you need some time to your self. Instead of switching off the phone or turning on the Airplane mode button, you activate the DO NOT DISTURB. Meaning your phone stays on, you can use it but no one can disturb you.
- What does the do not disturb button do on iPhone 4? I put it on bc when I sleep I don't want my parents seeing that I got a text or call but my friend just texted me when I wanted to sleep and i don't know why it's not working bc isn't it not suppose messages to come or calls

- Iphone Do Not Disturb Not working? I downloaded the new IOS for my Iphone 4s and set the Do Not Disturb function up to come on at 9 pm and go off at 7:30 am. I see the moon symbol on the screen so it shows the DND is on, and I have set 3 numbers as favorites, but the favorites are still not ringing through. I missed a call the other night from a favorite, didn't ring, didn't light up the screen, nothing. Am I missing something?
