What does the plug icon mean on the iPhone 5?
It's charging right now, I have 34% but its just a plug it's not the lightning bolt like usual, I really need to use it for tomorrow so how do I fix it? This is a new charger too, I just got it a week ago and this is the first problem.
Is it a USB plug with an iTunes logo near it? If it is it may be in recovery mode which is not hard to get out of I would ask apple support and the forums for help with that. You can also talk to apple support live and tell them exactly what's on screen and they'll show you how to fix it. If it gets to be infixable you may need to restore through iTunes. This is accomplished by plugging it in while it is in DFU mode. (Again there are many guides for how to do that.) Hope this helps.
