What does the 'S mean in iPhone?
The 5s has been announced so what does it mean? And what does the C mean for the 5c.
i think it means Special and the C for Cheap.makes sense.
Added (1). Yea, i think its Speed and Color.
as the 5s has a better processor then the 5, which i guess may be the only difference beside the fingerprint scanner… It still 8MP and same screen size.
iPhones suck, if i got one i'd jailbreak it because i don't really like the homescreen appearance.

I don't think Apple has ever officially said.
People joke that the "S" if "5S" means "same", but I think "second" makes more sense.
For the "C" in "5C", it probably means "color", but it could also mean "cheaper".
I guess it could be "Speed", "Siri" or "Special".

I know that S means speed. I'm not sure about C though. I'm pretty sure it has to do something with charging.
