What does this mean for my iPhone 5?
I've been keeping up with my Order Status Summary of my iPhone 5, so far it hasn't been giving me any information but my item status is processing. But last night I loaded the page again to check the status of my iPhone and it says under 'Tracking Number', "pending shipment". What exactly does this mean and does anybody have an estimate of when my phone will be here? It was ordered eight days ago.
It means that now they are handling the order and soon you will see a tracking number.
That's what my order information says! And I pre ordered mine on 9/18! Does anyone know about how long after it says "pending shipment" it will give you your tracking information?
I ordered mine on 9/26 at at&t and i have the same statuses as well. What i find weird is that the description went from apple black iPhone 5 16 gb… To just apple iPhone 5 16gb.oh well hopefully it comes soon!
This means your order has reached the United States. Now that it is here it will be on a short temporary hold. This is something Apple is doing as well as a few cell phone carriers.
When this happened to me last week the phone was pending shipment long enough for it to reach a local distribution hub. 1 day later my phone arrived by FedEx.
