What gets saved in an iphone backup?
I want to backup my iphone onto my computer and i was wondering what is saved and what is not saved. And what happens when i restore my backup? Will it be exactly like my old phone? Will it save everything? Examples: contacts, photos, passwords, etc. I specifically want to know if my texts will all be saved. I've had some important conversations that i don't want to be deleted.
If done to a computer, everything is. A full backup.
- WHATSAPP BACKUP! Why can't i find the backup conversation button in chat settings? I need to backup my whatsapp convo to iCloud from my iPhone 4s, because i wanna transfer the chat history to my iPhone 5s… But somehow i can't find the "backup conversation" button in chat settings. I have alrdy downloaded the latest version of whatsapp… WHAT IS GOING WRONG?

Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- If I upgrade my IPhone 5c to a Iphone 6s will i lose all my tapped/saved messages on Snapchat? If I use iCloud backup would that work? I would screenshot, but I don't want to be creepy about it. I sent this girl I liked a message how I felt about her and she saved it so did I. I don't want to lose it.
