What good sites can I get audio books for free?
What are some sites or apps that will allow me to download full good quality audio books onto my iphone (preferably to be done entirely on the iphone)? No monthly fees please.
I recommend checking out your local library. A lot of libraries now have ebook/audiobooks online that you can download onto your iphone or burn on to CD.
I recommend your public library that buys audiobooks. You can use Librivox for out of copyright ones read by volunteers.
Otherwise, you have to buy audiobooks. Authors and publishers want payment and so do the sound engineers and voice actors.
Check your local library. Mine has downloadable books set up through the online database.
- Why can't I hide or delete books on the Books app on my iPhone? I uploaded some free books to read on the app and after a couple chapters wasn't interested in them. I tried to delete them and they didn't go away. I tried to hide them and they still wouldn't go away. Now when I click "edit" it greys out the delete and hide options completely. I'm aggravated because I can't get rid of them no matter what I've tried.
