What happens if i choose to set up iPhone as new?

I don't want all the pictures and other stuff from my old phone to my new one, but i do want to keep all my music, I'm iphone retarded so i'm sorry if the answer is so obvious.

If you set up your iPhone as new you will not have anything on it. But then as you want your music on it you can go into the iPhone on iTunes and select to sync your music onto it (this will be on the iPhone menu and just say music). This will basically give you a clean slate with nothing but your music.

The phone would be set up with nothing on it. You should be able to sync music back on it no problem.

  • Would you choose original iPhone 5 or new iPhone 5c? I want to get a new phone and I'm thinking if the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5c are going to cost the same amount of money, which one would I choose? Considering the 5c is plastic. What would you choose?
  • With my new iPhone 7 plus if I set it up as a new phone instead of moving my iCloud data to the new phone would I lose my? Unlimited data plan and phone number or would that still be there I already put my SIM card in 10 points
  • What happens when I set up as New iPhone? I reset all network settings on my iPhone because my internet wasn't working, now it gives me three options 1) set up as new iphone, would that delete everything i have saved? Ie: games, texts, emails, notes? 2) restore from iCloud backup. I can't do this one cause apparently i don't have WI-FI or so it says. 3) Restore from iTunes backup. Which I chose this option, but it doesn't do anything.
  • What happens when I Set up as new iPhone? - 1 I just got a new phone and i plugged it into my laptop and it gives me the option of restoring it from my old phone or set up as new phone. I don't want my old photos back, i don't want my hone s old name back (its under my mom s name), and i don't want All the music back (I want to be able to go back and only add the ones i like). Do i restore it or do i set up a new one? (The most important thing is to be able to still access my songs if/when i set up a new one)
