What happens when you jailbreak an iPhone?
You can access tweaks to modify your phone.
If you *just* jailbreak your iPhone and don't do anything else, the only difference you'll see is maybe a different logo when you turn it on, and there will be a new app called Cydia (and maybe another one or two).
That's it - everything will work the same and look the same (except if you install an iOS update from Apple, it will remove your jailbreak). Nothing else changes until you use Cydia to add new jailbreak-only apps; it's what those apps do that make jailbreaking worthwhile - for instance you can install new themes, enable true multitasking, etc.
You get free apps, games, ect.
- When you get a new iPhone what happens to the stuff you bought? Do the songs and apps carry over on your account, or do you sync it with your computer? I just want to be sure that the things I paid for will carry over before I get a new one.
- What happens when you jailbreak your iPhone? I was planning to jailbreak my iphone so that i could download pokemon and stuff. But it said i had to erase my data, when i erase it what happens to my free apps or the ones i have purchased? Would i have to repurchase them or what?
- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- What happens when I jailbreak my iPhone? I'm getting more interested to have my iPhone jailbroken, but I would like to know what pros and cons come first. I ESPECIALLY want to know if it puts my data plan with my service provider in danger.
