What has happened to my camera?
When exposed to bright tech in darker places streaks of light appear on my camera especially after I wipe off the camera does anyone know what this is. (I have an iPhone 8) 
You are wiping something Onto the lens,
most likely oil or grease.
Skin oil is a prime possibility.
Try cleaning it with a Q-Tip that has been dipped into 91% isopropyl alcohol,
which will evaporate quickly.
I have had this happen. I think it has to do with the fact that Iphones use a scanning shutter- the detection moves from one side to the other. The light is flickering very quickly, so as the detection moves it catches the light when it's on and off in sequence.
You're wiping your camera with your fingers, right? It looks like oil or grease trails from wiping with fingers. Clean the camera lens with lint-free cloth or microfiber cloth.
It's a dirty lens. Use a clean microfiber cloth with some lens cleaner and this will fix the problem. Never use anything other than lens cleaning solution to clean the lens.
Especially after I wipe means you made the lens dirty with skin oil. Nice special effects though so keep that in mind.
- Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused

I haven't deleted them myself, I have a secure password on that no one knows, I haven't updated the software or downloaded anything, it hasn't been dropped, ect. Basically I put my phone on charge and when I went to send a message I had no contacts! Is there a way to fix this?
