I'm looking at the 17 inch one btw

Added (1). I have a decent pc and just wanted a cheap imac to play around with thank for your help i have £210 so if you could suggest a model that is around this price i will be very thankful: D

In my opinion - no. It's apple but the MAC OS X is old and MAC is incompatible with more programs. Also Intel Core Duo is old and weak. You can get a £150 quad core windows PC on eBay.

That is a very old iMac model. I believe it's the iMac G5 from 2004. Apple will not be giving customer support to this model soon.

You should purchase one of the new iMacs.

  • Why won't my iPhone sync to my iMac? I'm trying to sync my iPhone 4 to my iMac using iTunes but every time I plug it in and click sync a pop-up window says "The iPhone could not be synced because the sync session failed to start." I made sure the cable was plugged in right and everything looked normal, in the settings, summary, etc. But it still won't sync. It's not syncing wirelessly anymore either. If anyone knows the solution to this, that would be great.
  • Who's getting the new iMac or Mac Book Pro? I don't know if I should get one! I have a Windows laptop but like I don't need a Mac I just want one because I have an iPhone and decide to have everything Apple. Give me an opinion people!
  • Is it possible to create a new apple ID on an iMac and keep the old one? I'm a teenage kid and have my own Mac Book and iPhone, then the family has an iPad and iMac desktop. All four devices are under my apple ID, but I don't want the Desktop or iPad under my ID anymore. Is it possible to create a new apple ID for the desktop and iPad but keep the existing ID for my iPhone and Mac book?
  • IMac messaging and facetime I have an iPhone and an iMac desktop. I used to be able to message and FaceTime people from my desktop under my phone number. A little bit ago, I cracked my iPhone and got it fixed. After I got it fixed, my iMac won't let me do FaceTime on iMessage under my phone number, only my iCloud. Does anyone know how I can get my desktop set up again with my phone number?
