Well I've watched several video drop tests of the iphone 5 and it is actually really good with drops so I'd probably say the speck candy shell since I personally think that one looks better and adds less bulk… That being said, one of the videos I watched, a guy threw his iphone 5 off his roof with the otterbox on and it still worked and the screen wasn't even cracked so if you want that kind of protection I'd go with the otterbox

  • Would you get the Otterbox Defender or the Speck Candy Shell? I'm getting the 4s soon and I can't decide which of these two cases to get. Perks of the Otterbox is that it has a built in screen protector, it will protect your iPhone no matter what. But I don't like how it's so bulky. Perks of the Candy Shell is that its way slimmer than the Otterbox, and it's shock absorbent. But I'm not sure if it'll protect the phone just as good as an Otterbox.
  • Speck case vs Otterbox vs others for iPhone protection? I'm about to buy a new iPhone 5 and drop my phone occasionally and wanted to know what case would be bes to protect my phone. I like the look of the Speck more but also need to make sure it will keep my phone from breaking. Any thoughts from people who've had either the Otterbox or a Speck case or another one that offered good protection is awesome, thanks!
  • Should i get Otterbox Defender or Commuter? I'm getting an iPhone 4S tomorrow. I'm not a very clumsy person but i do drop my iPod touch occasionally. I want a case that allows my phone to still fit in my pants pocket. It needs to be a sturdy phone and i will put my phone in my backpack for school. Thanks! Needs to be a sturdy CASE not phone
  • Should I get an otterbox commuter or a lifeproof for my iphone 6? I'm debating between to two. I don't want a lot of extra bulk added to my phone. I have had both cases I just don't know which one to get. The lifeproof case is around $70, compared to the otterbox commuter which is around $30-35.
