Michelle actually told us the apps she uses! It's for iPhones only though. Here's what she said:

Spinning circle in upper left hand corner of my iphone 4s (pictures)? I have no idea what it is, in the upper right hand corner. Here is a picture It's that circle right beside the where it says bell. It will not go away!

I don't really know what else to put in this little information box but I think this all makes sense and there's nothing else to say.
