What is a realistic lifespan of the iphone 5s?
Just to clear things up I mean when will it become outdated i.e. The iPhone 3gs is now outdated.
I'm getting an iPhone 5s soon and want to know if it will be able to keep up with the newer phones as it is already a year old and if so how long can I realistically expect it to perform well?
PS don't tell me to get and iPhone 6 as from the leaks and rumours I have seen I'm not interested in it enough yet.

Added (1). Yeah I would be happy with 3 yeah life (as it's already a year old) I just hope that apps and games don't get too intensive so games will run slow etc…
The 4 came out in 2010. While a little slow it is still capable now. And BTW thousands of 3GS's are still used every day. Ballpark, 4-5 years with proper care. Best luck.
About four years seems to be the going rate for iPhones which to be fair is pretty decent.
IPhones are bad. Period. Just don't buy one.
The 5s debuted last year, should be around through 2015 assuming Apple's 3 iPhone strategy & should get updates through iOS 10 (on a guesstimate, could be longer as iPhones get better hardware-wise so should be better able in the long run to handle updates)

I would say the 5s would last at least up until late 2015, maybe even up to early or mid 2016.
- Why are dreams so realistic? Isn't it strange how realistic they are? Like this morning I was apparently asleep but anyways, I was just waking up and I checked my IPhone. Then I saw all these facebook messages from my crush and they all said like i love you and stuff. Then a few minutes later I actually wake up into real life and I checked my phone to see if they were real and they werent. Pooo.xD But anyways, why are dreams so realistic, and what makes them that way.
