What is it like to go on the drip in hospital?

My facial Cellulitis isn't *** off. It's been over a month now, so I just want to go to A&E to get treated there, on an antibiotic drip.

Does this hurt in any way? I'll probably have to be in hospital for a while, so how will I use the bathroom etc. If i'm on a machine? Will I be able to eat things other than the *** they provide at hospitals? (e.g. I get my mother to buy me *** loads of McNuggets.)… Is sleeping at hospital an inpleasant experience? Can I go out for a cigarette?

Final question is will I be able to play Pokémon and charge my DS/Iphone in hospital. I can't be dealing with no music/pokemon…

You will most likely be encouraged to keep up with your cellphone and games. You can charge them. Sleeping in the hospital isn't great. Not becasue the beds are uncomfortable but because you feel sick so it makes it hard to eat. Never had an antibiotic drip.

You will have a needle put in your arm so they can administer drugs through it if necessary. It will be taped to your arm after insertion. The drip will be fed in with this. You will only feel a scratch-don't worry-doesn't hurt. You will be able to go to the bathroom wheeling your drip with you(It's on a stand on wheels)
When I was in hospital the guy in the next bed had a Macdonald's brought in for him by his daughter every visit.
Sleeping amongst a crowd of people in a strange bed is difficult. However the beds are comfortable as they have all been renewed and Memory Foam Mattress used.
Yes you can go for a cigarette outside the hospital.
Yes I charged my phone whilst in hospital.
