What is the best way to get my iphone 5 screen repaired?
My daughter dropped my phone and shattered the screen. What is the best way to get it fixed? Just call apple or is there another way?
Assuming you did not buy Apple Care or Other protection.
Apple is the only truly trustworthy source but will be expensive - as I recall the touch screen and display are fused together on the iPhone5 & Touch5.
Other services can replace the screen, but unless you have experience with them there's a risk they'll damage your phone. Google replace iPhone5 screen and you'll get an idea.
I'd be more confident using an aftermarket source or buying my own display on Amazon or eBay if it were a prior generation iPhone or Touch.
