What is the difference between iphone 3gs 16gb and iphone 3g 16gb?
Guys i'm going to buy iPhone so i'm little bit confuse about this any one can help me… What is the difference between iphone 3gs 16gb and iphone 3g 16gb?

The 3GS Processor speed is actually 833 MHz, underclocked to 600MHz to prevent overheating, the processor clock speed on the 3G is 624 MHz, underclocked to 422 MHz, so the 3gs is faster.
IPhone 3G discontinued iPhone 3GS WILL be discontinued in 2012.
Both these phone came out in the last decade (3G, JUNE 2008 [Beijing Olympics] 3GS June 2009 and being iPhones are overprice.
Despite the "iPhone fixation" virtually everybody "non Apple" has produced phones for a lot less with a lot more features than either
Both these iPhones come low mega pixels cameras and neither has a flash.
As I understand it the 3GS will not be getting the 5.1 OS and as an 'antiquated' device, some recent app won't even work on it
Having just answered a similar question eg just 2, both HTC Wildfire S and Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 have better specs than the the iPhone 3GS

Again it would seem that even though iPhones are NOT brand new devices, being Iphones are 'superior' to more recent higher spec phones which are NEW.
The most obvious thing is he difference in speed. With the 3GS being faster, the other differences are:
In hardware the the 3GS has a newer processor, a video camera, higher resolution screen and a better build quality (just feels more sturdy).
In the software what you get extra in the 3GS is the ability to set background pictures and most importantly you can upgrade to iOS5 on the 3GS but not on the 3G.
The 3GS is a far better option
