What is the difference between tethered unlock and untethered?
I just tethered unlock my iphone 3gs and from what i know unlock means you can use any carrier, what's the difference between the two? I unlocked my iphone coz local sim here in the philippines doesn't work with iphone.
Tethered/Untethered concerns jailbreaks not unlocks.
The difference being that tethered would require a computer to boot properly after a reboot, dead battery, whereas untethered works as normal.
