What is the difference between the first iPhone and the iPhone 5?
I would only buy an iPhone if it was cheap, and i see on eBay you can get the first one for £100 or less, so if I could buy the first one for that, whenever the iPhone 5 costs like £500+, what have they changed to make it so much better. All i can see that people use them for are useless apps and games like temple run, which i presume most of which you can get on the first one anyway.
The hardware would be extremely outdated. If you are getting an older phone then the oldest I would get is 3GS. Iphone 4 is actually free with a 2 year contract, I would go that route as that hardware is still very good (at least in the US, overseas not sure what type of offers they have there).

There's a big difference from the first iPhone up iPhone 5 but not so much difference from iPhone 4 up to iPhone 5. I would pay just a little more to get the iPhone 4 if you can. The iPhone 5 is still really over priced right now.
