I have a free iPhone 4S. I love it!
However, the phone is not "free."
They make you pay the bills, and, yes, the 2-yr. Contract.
So, it is not really "free"
The phone UNIT however, is free.
When you get any phone for free from any cell phone provider, Verizon included they always have me sign a two-year contract, there's no way around it, otherwise the phone is not free
The phone itself is free, but you'd have to sign up for a 2 year contract with them to get it at that price. Same option available at AT&T & Sprint & 1 somewhat similar at T-Mobile.
