What is the meaning of this app is optimized for iphone 5?
I have checked some apps on the apps store and the apps say "this app is optimized for iphone 5."what does it mean? Does it mean that these apps are not gonna work in the previous versions of iphone? I'm using iphone 4 with IOS 7. Will the apps work in my device or not?
It means it will fit the 4 inch screen of the iphone. Before that happened, apps would be in the regular 3.5 inch size. When they are optimized, it means it will fit to the screen instead of leaving black bars on the side. It will still work on your phone.
It means that your phone does not have the optimum screen sizr for that app. That requires a screen of 4inch n so its unfit for your 4s which has a screen size of 3.5.
It means that it is set up for the 5's 4" display vs the previous iPhones with their 3.5" ones. Depending on the app it would still very much work on older iPhones.
