What is the NOAA weather radio for Canada?

I'm shortly going up to Canada for a fly in fishing trip (specifically Big Trout Lake Ontario) and i need a reliable source of weather. It sounds funny but it is kinda important to get good updates on the condition, i'm kinda a nerd about this stuff. I have a app on my phone that allows me to listen to the NOAA radio channels for the united states. This works vary well for me in Michigan, but obviously can't get Canadian weather. I want/need accurate weather and mariner reports.
Is there something like NOAA radio for canada, and if there's, are there any good apps for the iphone that will do this function.

Environment Canada would be the bureau that predicts weather in Canada.

But you probably don't want to use your American iPhone to run apps in Canada since it usually leads to extremely large bills unless you can get them to only run on Wi-Fi.

  • What do the symbols for the weather on my iPhone mean? I always check the weather on my iPhone but today I couldn't figure out what the symbol meant. It is the app you can't delete to be specific. I saw one that looked like snow flakes but it's the middle of July! They might have been stars but I have no clue!

  • Weather app for android or iphone? - 1 I have an android phone and was wondering if you could recommend a weather app that does forecasts. I have one but the forecasts are incredibly inaccurate. I know forecasts are pretty tough and usually just educated guesses but even the one day forecasts and current temps are very off.So, any accurate weather apps that include forecasts that you know of, please recommend!
