What is two year contract of iphone 5c locked version?

My sister went to NewYork for a personal visit and i told her to buy an Iphone 5C as we stay in India it is little bit costly… So please Let me know the price of iphone 5C in NewYork or Boston and Online website such as Walmart. And is there any simcard preinstalled in that iphone5c for example AT&T or something like that? And will i able to unlock that iphone 5C in India? And if yes jst let me know the website for unlocking that iphone 5C for using different carriers. And is unlocking iphone 5C legal?

Locked means for two years you can't use any other service provider… In the country in which you purchase locked device and got it unlocked before the tenure of the contract is illegal… But you r from india

you can get it unlocked in india… But sometimes some devices can't be unlocked… For prices check apple us site… And yes once you have unlocked a device you can use any sim card… But your warranty gets void… So don't try to claim your device is in warranty period
