What is wrong with my apple charging cord?
I have an iphone 4 and the last couple days my cord only charges my phone for a moment before it says charging is not supported with this accessory. I tried it on an iphone 3gs and the phone said charging is not supported with this accessory again. Does anyone know a fix to this issue or does the cord need to be replaced?
It's old. Replace it
First, is it an official apple charger or a reproduction, second, have you tried plugging it into a different USB port or power source, third, is there any kinks or imperfections in the cord itself, that can cause a power to be routed to the device unevenly and in some cases cause it to short out, happened with one of my iPods before, I would recommend just buying a new one, unless you are a skilled technician there's no fixing it.
Get a new chord on amazon, you can get some cheap ones there. I had the same issue and the new chord fixed it, never had it again since.
- My Iphone 4s Headjack Port has or something wrong with it what wrong? My IPhone head jack has something in it or something wrong, because it was working fine and then the next day i plug my beats it wouldn't fully go in I had to force it and hold it down then if I let go it go out so i use my apple headphone same thing I look inside try to take it out or see it nothing happen I don't know what in it but I put the light or shine don't see nothing i use the paper clip to see if I could take it nothing there Please Help
- Is there something wrong with my phone or is there something wrong with my mom's phone? Ok so when I attempt to call my mom, it doesn't ring it just goes straight to voicemail but doesn't show on my mom's phone that she had a missed called. My messages won't go through either, but her calls and messages come through to me. We both have iPhones and they are both on. I can text everyone else, call everyone else but her.

Just called up apple and found out the answer, decided to share it with the world to keep your sound systems safe. If your charge your ipod touch or Iphone, Have it unplugged from your sound system. Cheers. kind of agree with you man, But my logitech z5500 system is like $1000 new right now… Insane, don't want to take a chance. But your probably right.
- Iphone cord not charging, cord not ripped? Me and my sister have ipod 5's and we got a new charging cord 2 weeks ago and when i went to charge it today, it wouldn't charge, not on the wall adapter or in a usb port, already tried blowing into both ports, and wiping them off. Any help? Also this is like the 4th charger i've had since christmas and they all seem to break, any help with that? Best answer gets 10 points.
