What is wrong with my iphone?
I have an iphone 5c, never had any issues and haven't dropped the phone. One day o had a black halo circle at the bottom right corner of my phone. Stayed that way for a few weeks until the screen just went completely black even when the phone was actually on. Now I'm able to see a partial area of my screen with the rest being covered in lines. What is wrong with my phone? How can it be repaired and about how much would it cost?

Most likely simply a faulty screen which needs replacing.
Costs of that vary according to where in the world you live and who does the job. On a DIY basis using a screen directly from one of the Chinese sellers on eBay which come with fitting tools it can be under £20/ 20€/ $25 US. Get Apple to do it and it's closer to $200 but will be with a genuine Apple screen. Anyone else charges from around £50 to almost Apple prices, some will use the same screens as Apple, others will use the cheapest screens which tend to scratch or shatter easily.
