What makes iPhone so pricey than any other Mobile?
What is so special in a 4-inch screen iPhone which makes it costlier than any other smart phone with bigger screens?
Apple add extra percentages onto their products, which keeps their company stable. And its fair enough. Their phones are made with added quality (e.g- Metal, not plastic) The glass used in the screen is also of higher quality than other screens.
Well buyers judge the phone by its external looks. The phone sucks but its design and materials are attractive so they make it pricey. A cheap phone like the nexus 5 Is way better than Iphones.

Bcuz its made by Apple. Ppl these days are so into materialistic things so Apple knows they can charge so much for the iPhone bcuz ppl will buy them no matter what
Actually, if you compare the price of an unlocked iPhone 5s with the price of an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or Galaxy S4, they are basically the same.
