What mechanical engineering is used in an iPhone?

What type of mechanical engineering work is used to create an iPhone? From design, manufacturing, or function?

I think the part of Mechanical Engineers in the manufacturing of iPhone is in the machines that create the iPhones parts. They are produced in a large scale, hence machines will be needed to automate the process. These machines are manage/maintained by Mech. Engineers.

  • Should my mechanical wrist watch be loosing time? I bought a very nice $5000 montblanc wristwatch a week ago and I've synced it almost perfectly to the iPhone watch and I've noticed that my wrist watch tends to run ahead about 50 seconds every day. Is this normal?
  • Should I get a used iPhone 4s or a new iPhone 4? The iPhone 4s is my uncles phone… Which is in good condition obviously not in mint like a new one would be. Or should I get a new iPhone 4? Is there a big difference between them?
  • Should I buy a new iphone 4 or a used Iphone 4s? So should I buy a brand new factory unlocked Iphone 4 or a used Iphone 4s? They're around the same price (which is my limit) and my mind is set on an iphone. I'd like the 4s but the thought of buying second hand online feels risky. Which do you think would be best? Just wanna throw in that I know all the specs of the phones, Its just a "new vs used" question:/
