What object from home could represent the function of the nucleus?
We're supposed to bring an object that represents the FUNCTION of the nucleus. I was thinking that I could use my iPhone and explain how it's is a smart phone and how it is the center of my life. If that wouldn't work what would

No your iphone does not help you to exist in this world you would still be living without your cell phone. I would bring in a bottle of water.explain how water is needed for all your organs and brain to fuction. Lol an iphone haha
Well i guess the function of any nucleus is to be the center mass that other things of smaller mass orbit.
So… An analogy could be your phone if you say it's the nucleus of your social life and its function is to tether you to all the people you care about and communicate with whether it's to make plans, just talk, send photos… Etc. Your phone is the nucleus that keeps your friends and family in close orbit. Well actually in this case you're the nucleus too, in fact to really sound smart just say that your phone is the neutron and you are the proton and together you make up the nucleus! And then if they ask why your phone is the neutron say because if it gets knocked out of your hands and breaks it might start a nuclear chain reaction to your social life: D
- Would the police get involved for an expensive stolen object by a minor? My mom bought me glasses($400). They are "real" and the lenses are made to fit my eye vision. I'm in middle school and a high school boy who has a reputation for stealing things (ipods, iphones etc) stole my glasses while he was hanging out with me. Will the police be willing to get involved in this? I live in California. I really need them back, they're expensive and I can barely see anything during class… Or life
- What is the object of slender man for iPhone? I know there are different versions of this game like where you find the pages and stuff but for the iPhone app version I don't get what you are supposed to do.
- What happens if I use another object to open the card slot for iPhone 5? You know that they have that small thingy you use to open the card slot for iPhone 5? What if I use other objects to do the job? I've used paperclip, and the needle of a compass to do the job several times to change cards. Might it be dangerous? The last thing I want to happen is to damage my iPhone's card slot and therefore making it unable to open.
- Relation between Frames per second and Speed of an object? I have an iphone 5 and when recording I read that the fps is 30 fps. Now, based on that, If an object in a video starting from where it appears to where it can't be seen anymore is a time of 0.3 seconds, then the frames per second of that object is 0.3. So to find the speed of that object I divided 30 divided by 0.3 which gave me as an answer 100 feet per second which is 100fps which the speed of the object would be 109.728 km/h. Correct me if I'm wrong.
