What other devices use the same batters as iphone 5s?

Here's the situation, my iphone won't charge and no, it's not the cable. There's probably a loose connection in between the dock and the battery from when I dropped it. I need a replacement device that will charge the battery and then I will use a kit to take out the battery out of that device and put it in my phone. I would essentially use it as a charger. So I'm looking for a surrogate device, preferably an old one so that I can get it for cheap. Would a 1st or 2nd generation iphone work? I know they use a different cable but are the batteries different? Or if that doesn't work are there any other devices that use an iphone 5s battery that don't cost as much as an iphone 5s?

I would just take it to an apple store and have them check it.

  • Will the photos I take with my IPhone 5s be linked with other devices with the same Apple ID? I have an iPad and an IPhone 5 and a 5s. Will the pictures I take on the 5s be sent to the other apple devices since they both all are linked to the same Apple ID?
  • Will all data share across devices on iPhones with the same Apple ID? My dad recently got an iPhone 4s for his birthday and I currently have an iPhone 6. My iMessages went on to his phone without me putting on any sharing settings. I do not have iCloud or anything like that. I was wondering if any other things will go through on his phone
  • What will happen if i use Kik messenger with 2 devices at the same time? - 1 If I'm already logged into kik messenger through my iPhone, what will happen if I log into kik messenger on my iPad while still logged onto kik through my iPhone? Will it delete my previous messages on my iPhone? Will I still be able to message people back through both devices?
  • Two devices with the same Apple ID? Okay, so my dad FINALLY gave me a ipod, since i'm to 'young' to have a phone. He owns a iPhone and i have the newest version of the iPod Touch. We use the same account and i wanted to know if the apps i download will download to his phone. And if i start using facetime and iMessage, if its going to send it to his phone as well? I added another email address (MINE) for the iMessage and Facetime, would that change anything? please anwser
