What prepaid carrier should I choose?

I'm going to get a iPhone 5, and I was wondering what prepaid iPhone plan should i get? I'm currently looking at straight talk, Virgin Mobile, and Boost. I have sprint on my iPhone 4, and I absolutely hate sprint, so I'm not that excited about Virgin and Boost. I was going to get Aio Wireless, but then they announced that if they acquired a company from Cricket they would shut down, and I don't want to have a provider for two months and then have to find another one. I'm leaning toward straight talk, but I don't understand how their 4g/LTE works! So if anyone wants to explain that, or give me another great carrier or their opinion that would great!

Straighttalk now offers 2.5 gigs of "high speed" data on their unlimited plan, and 2g after that for the balance of the month. As far as I can tell, they don't define what the high speed data is, or whether LTE is available.

T-Mobile and its affiliates offer a number of good options, just depending on how you use your phone. They are rapidly expanding and updating their LTE network, and their backup 4g network is as good as the competition. Your choices will include T-Mobile's own pre-paid plans, Walmart Family Mobile, Targets new Brightspot, and Solavei. All use the T-Mobile network.

One of T-Mo's plans gives you 5 gigs of 4g/LTE, with unlimited 3g and text for just $30, but limits your voice to just 100 minutes a month. Some people who don't use their phones as phones much are good with that though, and it is a lot of data for $30. Solavei has one of the best values around, you get 4 gigs of 4g/LTE, unlimited 3g, voice and text for $49 a month, but that is the only option they offer. If you shop around, you can find unlimited plans with more high speed data, but you will pay a lot more for it.

If you do look at carriers like Virgin and Boost, remember they don't reach far past most city limits, and not at all in smaller towns, I like to stick with the national carriers, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

As far as hating Sprint goes, it's a big club.
