What's a great underwater camera around $250?
It will be a gift for my girlfriend this Christmas. She loves taking pictures and we usually do it on our iPhones, so I feel this would be a amazing gift for her (us). Please suggest some and let me know if my price is too low for this mentioned camera. Also a timer would be nice to have thanks. God bless
GoPro is an option, it is not expressly an underwater camera, but it has a waterproof casing, depending on the one you want for $400 you can get one that shoots 4k but they also have $300 and $200 options, they have burst modes and just picture modes and can be used in a wide array of activities
I'm going to check out Fuji as I recall they have a waterproof camera reaonably priced.

The Panasonic Lumix TS5 is overall the best ruggedized, waterproof point-and-shoot camera you can buy. We tested it up on the mountains and in the depths of the ocean and it is the best you can get. In addition to taking excellent stills and best-in-class video, it's waterproof to 43 feet and dropproof to 6.6 feet. Others go deeper but a housing can increase those numbers even further, so it's not an issue except for scuba divers who will want a housing anyway.
The Lumix TS5 takes beautiful outdoor photos and its intelligent auto mode is smart enough to adapt to a wide range of conditions, ideal because you don't have time to take underwater action shots in manual mode. Colors are extremely vivid and it does a solid job with dynamic range. It shoots vastly better video than any of its competitors. It's extremely intuitive to use, it's comfortable to hold and it (probably) fits in your pants pocket. It's also waterproof to 43 feet, dropproof to 6.5 feet, freezeproof to 14°F, and crushproof to 220 pounds. Other cameras are more waterproof and rugged, but on the higher-end, and an external housing is available for added depth if you so desire for scuba. But we'll get into all that later.
An underwater camera is not necessarily the best camera for the money.
As these cameras go, the Nikon AW110 is pretty good, and it is now marked down to within your budget.

- Your suggestion for a pro quality video camera with great audio under $500? I work at a trade school we we have weekly guest lectures, presentations, and other events, and we're wanting to take some quality videos to put on our site and elsewhere. Typical iphones and other similar devices are just giving us poor quality, especially audio, so we're looking for suggestions for a quality videocamera under $500, with the most important attribute being good audio pickup.

- What is the best bang for your buck video camera for retro style filming at 24 fps, 4K resolution, and no camera judder? Below $1,250? I use an anamorphic adapter lens for an iPhone 6s Plus(+filmic pro) and while the footage is 10 times better than basic iPhone footage, I can't help but notice the jerkiness of edged objects at 24 frames even when I'm holding the phone as still as I can. I've experimented with different frames, shutter speeds, ISO
