What's AppleCare+Iphone? Should i buy it?

Okay so i'm ordering an iphone 4s from Sprint and its recommending me to get the appleCare+iphone, but i don't know exactly what it means or how it work. Can you guys please tell me? And should i buy it or not?

Yes and no. It extends your free tech support and warranty on the iPhone but it is pricey. It may be a better deal to buy the phone on a credit card which doubles the warranty for free (many do now). You won't get the free tech support but if your iPhone stops working, the credit card company will pay for the repair or replacement.

  • Will AppleCare Plus cover my shattered iPhone 4 screen? I dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I have AppleCare Plus and they replaced my phone when it fell in the toilet. Do you think they'll replace it for this? If not, how much does an iPhone 4 cost now? $49.99?

  • Waterdamaged iPhone, will AppleCare+ cover it? I have applecare + for my iphone 4s which gets 2 accidental damage replacements or whatever. But I'm not understanding how much I need to pay. I was thrown into a lake the person not realizing that my phone was on me and now it only works if I have it charging and its has no Wi-Fi or service. So if I take it to the apple store I know you get a replacment for $50 but do you have to pay for anything els? Like getting It fixed or a new phone or is that the total amount?
