What's 'other' in my storage?
I know clearing your cached messages and Safari data are part of Other. But that doesn't help me at all. I have a 16GB iPhone and an uneccessarily large amount of the storage is used by 'Other' data. I barely have anything else on this phone. Nobody else has solutions that will suit me. I can't even delete anything else or anything. I've been struggling for so long so if someone could help me out I would love you forever.
Are you looking at it from your iPhone. My other is empty space. Mine says 12.5 gb of 256 gb used and I have a really long gray bar and the legend says it's other.
If you want to free up space, try going into your mail and tap the all mail folder. Start deleting mail that you don't want. Then go into the trash folder and empty everything. Mail on the iPhone mail app keeps all your email even if you empty your trash. You need to remove it from the all mail folder then from your trash folder.
