What's so bad about being a 2000s kid? - 1
I was born in early 1996 which makes me a 2000s kid. I believe that you have to be born in the 80s or *very* early in the 90s to be considered a 90s kid. Most people born at the same time as me desperately want to be 90s kids, but what's wrong with being a 2000s kid? It annoys me when people say "I feel sorry for 2000s kids!" The early 2000s were practically the same as the 90s, like the same tv shows, same music style, similar fashion, etc. I don't know why Justin Bieber, iphones, etc. And all that nonsense are associated with 2000s kids, because I wasn't really a kid when any of that happened, I was a teenager. I would say kids who were *born* in the 2000s should be associated with the aforementioned, because they are the kids of today.
Added (1). I actually did own a Gameboy color that came out in the 90s, the very first came out in the 80s. Also, I wasn't a kid when One Direction first came out, I was a teenager…
Added (2). You guys are missing the point. Most of my childhood was spent in the first half of the 2000s when we did not have music like One Direction, Justin Bieber, etc. And we didn't have things like iphones either, or at least I don't know any kid who ever had one. Those things are around today but I'm not a child, therefore those things aren't part of my childhood.
Sometimes
90s kids is not really about the year, it's more like the generation that knew the very first Gameboy, watched the first episodes of Pokemon and were there when anime appeared on tv. All these things that are nerdy-cool these days
And 2000s kids are those pretending to have know all this, just because it's cool to be a geek now ; and on the side, they scream their love for One Direction and would kill their parents to have anything with an apple on it~
So while I doubt you have had that old gameboy and saw the first weird cartoons on TV, I think that if you genuinely love those good old days, you can be considered as a 90s kid
Everything, you guys have bad music, bad tv shows, stupid technology like iPhones that makes face to face interaction virtually non-existent, stupid Facebook, just stupid internet.
I'm a proud 90's kid born in 1989 and I'm so glad to have lived the 90's and early 00's.
Nothing wrong with being a 2000s kid. Every decade is different. I was a 90s kid and enjoyed the culture just as you would have enjoyed your 2000s culture.
NOTHING the 2000's was a great decade their were a few sh! Tty shows in the 90s as well i'm so tired of 90s kids thinking EVERYTHING was prefect in their decade
90's were way better
- Is it bad for a poor kid to have expensive things? My parents are low-middle class but i always buy expensive clothes so i can look good and fit in with the other kids. I feel guilty doing this, but i just want to fit in. Almost everybody in my school has smartphones, so i bought an iphone. Need to fit in but i feel so guilty. I don't want to empty my parents' bank account. btw i beg for all the stuff, my parents didn't want to get it for me. I feel even more guilty.
- Can a rechargeable battery go bad if it's not being used? Just wondering if I were to to take a brand new iphone and set it down for 2 years, would the battery be as good as it was when I bought it?
- A friend of mine shares his iPhone with his kid through iPad. So all the messages I sent to him could be read by his kid. I'm concerned? I brought this issue up to him hoping to find ways to solve this issue. Because I feel really uncomfortable that my messages to him is open to his family members. He would not do anything about it, saying convenience to his family out weigh my concern. Is he completely ignorant of my concern or what I'm asking is too much?
