What's the difference between an iphone and the andriod version of iphone?

They look identical except with the major difference in price - what are the advantages and disadvantages of the android version? Are they similar in ways? Which would be better?

Best thing to do is go to a phone shop and try them. There are many android phones out there, i assume you mean the samsung galaxy s3. I have the s2 and it feels better for me than the iphone. They are pretty much the same tbh just personal preference

Why would Android copy Apple
Apple phone do NOT have bluetooth
Apple phone do NOT have MICRO SD

iPhone is a registered trade make and so can't be used in any Android phone name

The difference is that one is an iPhone and the other is a cheap and unreliable Chinese knock-off using a hotch-potch of Android-compliant hardware and usually an obsolete version of Android customised to look a bit like Apple's iOS. There's no such thing as an "Android version" of iPhone.

Never forget that fake iPhones are manufactured by criminals. They have no scruples regarding loading their phones with spyware and other malware in order to suck the fools who buy them dry. Not all of them have malware, but it's always a risk.

One is reliable but expensive, and can run content downloaded from the ITunes Store and has extensive aftersales backup and support. The other is usually cheaper than an iPhone, but still overpriced compared to basic but official Android models, has absolutely no aftersales support, is often unreliable, and frequently incompatible with many apps on Google Play.

Other very obvious differences are that iPhones have handsfree BlueTooth voice dialling and Android phones never have that facility, although genuine Android phones are also very good.

Having had iPhones, Androids, Windows Phones and BlackBerries over the last three years I can say that they all have their good points and what's best depends upon the needs of the user and the available budget, but counterfeit phones of any type are always a bad idea.

There are some Android phones which at a casual glance appear to be similar in appearance to some iPhone models, but touch screen phones are going to tend to look similar. Using the same argument I could claim that the very first iPhone was a "copy" of my first HTC touchscreen phone which ran Windows Mobile 5. But there's still an immense gulf between a legitimately manufactured smartphone which happens to look a teensy bit like an iPhone and a counterfeit model.
