What's the difference between the US and Thailand made iPhone 4s?

I'm planning to buy an iPhone here at the Philippines. But, some shops offer iPhones made from Thailand, Korea, etc. (other than the US)

Are they the same in terms of hardware?

Some of my friends told me that if you buy a non-US made iphone, there's really no difference.

Added (1). Okay, so if I buy, let's say, the Thailand version of an iPhone 4s. It's really the same as every other iPhones out there? Well, minus the contracts, because I don't live in the US.

The IPhone is not made in Thailand, and never was made in Thailand. It's made in China for Apple, so whoever is telling you this is full of it. Apple sells it phone at the same price all over the world, but some countries will charge import taxes which increase the price. Thailand is one of those countries. The only different is that if you buy a Iphone in the US it may be under a contract and locked, where here in Thailand they are unlocked unless you got one orginial made for purchase in the US which would not be under warranty.

All iPhones r manufactured in China only

I believe those iPhones you see are fake because none of the iPhones are actually made in Thailand, Korea or even the States. They are all made in China.

All iPhones are the same and there are no versions. Just that they are sold to different countries. But again, remember that no iPhone is made in Thailand and if it says it is, it's therefore fake and is nothing like the real iPhone.
