What's the difference between vibrate, silent, and muted volume when receiving calls?
For the Iphone 4s. If I have my volume up (ie watching videos will tha make it ring.) Basically I don't want it to ring or vibrate, but I want it to have volume for other things.
Vibrate you will feel it, silent you won't the screen normally just lights up then and if you are watching a video it will stop and silence when you get an incoming call.

- My iphone won't vibrate even though vibrate is turned on? I have an iPhone 3gs and it worked fine until I updated it (ios 6). My phone, when on silent mode, won't vibrate when I get a message. In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected. When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
- My iphone 5 will only vibrate and not ring. Yes, the volume is all the way up. I checked. I went into settings and choose a ringtone? All this phone does is vibrate. Any ideas on what the problem can be. I have tried turning the power off and restarting the phone still only vibrates and does not ring. It worked.
- My iPhone 4 is not ringing and its not muted? I'm missing calls because my iPhone isn't ringing, my speaker isn't broken, mute isn't on. Do not disturb isn't on, I tried everything, but won't ring still, but it only rings when earphones r on, someone help please
