What's the most popular camera photographer's buy?
Hi there I want to be the next big thing with photograph's I only take pictures with my iPhone but I want to take it to the big level and take photograph's with a nice camera that takes good hd photographs I don't care if it's really expensive and I don't know a lot about camera's but please help me find a good camera so I can live my
It helps to know what you're talking about first. There's no such thing as an "hd photograph".
The iPhone is the most used camera in the world. It's not the best by any stretch of the imagination, but it's the most used and if you know what you're doing with it, it can produce good pictures.
Photographers buy cameras depending on what they want to shoot, their personal preferences, their budget, and a hundred other things. The most popular cameras are probably entry level DSLRs, mainly from Canon and Nikon.
You want to be the next big thing? You and a trillion other people. Get in line.
Anyway. It sounds like you're one of these people who believes that you can buy talent (if not punctuation) and that if you buy the most expensive camera out there you'll take the best pictures, become rich and famous and live happily ever after. So go get yourself a Hasselblad H5D. Cost you around forty thousand dollars. If you "don't know a lot about camera's (sic)", then your pictures will be useless, but at least they'll be forty thousand dollar useless.
Wow.
Just because a camera my be popular, does NOT mean it is the best camera for shooting things like, sports, star trails, light graffiti and using selective depth of field.
As Mark as said, HD is an attribute of video only.
If you like shooting head shots, here is a link you may find interesting.

Yes these are adverts but they will show you what it takes to shoot head shots and produce amazing lighting on the models.
Mr. Hurley uses an older Hasselblad H2D and 120 mm macro lens. You can spend some time on KEH looking for a used one if that is the way you want to go.
You don't need to have a "popular" camera to get good shots. You might as well use your iPhone's camera and learn about ISO, Shutter speed and the basics of photography before you want to buy a camera that might cost you a bomb, and if you know none of this and in the end you don't get good results, you'll prolly just dump your "popular" and "expensive" and "richy looking" camera away for a few months and never touch it ever again, what a waste.
You should probably start on an entry level camera first before advancing into the higher end camera, learn more about photography, it's not just snapping photos with the best looking camera. For all you know another iPhone user can actually take better shots than an expensive DSLR that you want.
Think this through and by 'living your dream', you should work hard for it.
There isn't one…
The best approach is to start reading photography guide books or some of the monthly magazines, take your time and think about what features and specifications are most important in cameras to help you enjoy the type of photography that interests you…
That's the best way to go about buying the right camera or best camera for you… You can also find on-line articles to help you get an idea of what to look for… Be careful though… Take notes… And after you have compiled a list of priorities then give 'You Tube' a visit and watch some reviews and comparisons… A visit to your local camera store is the best way to make sure that your choice is right… You might decide on a camera and after handling it… Might not be so keen on it… So handle the different options before committing to a purchase…
It sounds like a lot of hassle, it isn't, it's interesting and pretty enjoyable… If you're really interested in photography.

- What would you recommend to a beginner photographer? I'm beginning to follow my dream of becoming a professional photographer, yet I don't own a camera. I mean, I use my iPhone and my parent's digital camera, but not one of my own. I've used Canon's cameras before, and I think I want to save up for one. Can someone recommend a few that I could start with? Something HD, with a nice grip, not too bulky.

- Is it okay to call myself an aspiring photographer? I've been saving up a lot of money for my first camera. At the moment i just take snapshots on my iPhone and post them to and account on Instagram. Somebody told me i can't be an aspiring photographer because i'm using my cell at the moment. Am i in the wrong? I just love taking pictures and right now all i have is my cell and i really to aspire to become a photographer some day.
