What should I do if apple won't do anything about my bent iphone 6?
I had recently bought the iphone 6. Less than a month from the purchase date, the phone ended up bending causing the screen to be damaged and not functional. This was not a forceful bend meaning i did NOT do this on purpose by any means. Apple doesn't seem to want to do anything and i think it would be fair to have the phone replaced. What should i do?
Well, if you decide to challenge them, a company like Apple has a dedicated legal team, the best of the best.
May not be worth it.
Maybe they would be willing, after a lot of complaining, to replace it with a refurb'd iPhone 5?
The phone does not exactly just bend on its own. So there was obviously something you did that caused the phone to bend like it did. Meaning, they will just say that its your fault because you did not treat the phone right and so they are not at fault, regardless of how weak the screen/metal is. Its probably somewhere in the terms/conditions or something. Its like walking into a hot tub with your iPhone in your pocket and expecting Apple to replace it because it has water damage. The phone would have to be misused or mishandled in order to get it to bend.
I actually have a theory that an iPhone that is bent will become a collector's item after Apple upgrades the strength of the phones so they no longer bend, so it could actually be worth more money than you bought it for in as soon as a year from now.
- Will my bent iPhone affect performance? Some friends and I were screwing around and my iPhone 6 got bent. The screen didn't crack, but it is popping out slightly. I've since put my phone in a lifeproof case. If I keep it in the lifeproof, will the performance be fine, and will the bend get worse?
- Will AT&T take a bent iphone 5 trade in? I have a bent iphone 5 (don't ask me how, google it, happening to a lot of people). Wondering if AT&T will take it as a trade in for a new phone? If so does anyone know how much? I know in perfect condition they offer 300$ trade in, but I'm sure they're going to take a nice chunk off for it (if they'll take it at all)
- My iphone charger cable is bent I was just sitting in my room charging my phone when it stopped charging. I moved my phone to a different position, and it started charging again. Then I moved it back, and it stopped charging again. Please help because I need my phone for babysitting jobs and it won't charge. **NOTE** I tried charging my phone through my computer, and it won't work.
- My iPhone 6 is bent, what should I do? So I dropped my iPhone 6 on concrete and the screen cracked and one side of the phone Beth a little. Would a new screen be able to be fitted? And will my iPhone be able to use cases now that it's a little bent?
