What should I do with my water broken iphone?

My iphone 4 is broken/dead. It had a little bit of water in it and I put it in a bag of rice overnight to draw out the water but it didn't work and is completely dead now. What can I do with my broken iphone? Sell it? Any ideas?

Someone told me they had another type of phone in a similar situation, the phone was dead, and someone suggested, take the cover off, blow off any water excess with a jet of air, then put the phone inside a container full with rice, and wait a couple of days, the rice suppose to absorb humidity from the phone, after a couple of days try to turn it on again. His one worked fine and has been fine since.

Inpale it on a pole with a sign that says "BEWARE!"

Sell it to me. Contact me through my website. Wcphonedr.com

Don't throw it out, you can trade it in and upgrade. Even if damaged they give you something back for it, so thats better then nothing and makes it easy.

  • When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
  • My iPhone has water in it how can I get the water out? I got a little bit of water in it at my pool and it shutoff within a minute or so, it won't turn back on and I have had it in rice for over 10 hours.
  • Is my iPhone broken (water damage)? About 5-6 minutes ago, I dropped my iPhone in the toilet. I dried it off, and the screen was fuzzy. Then the screen went really dark, to the point where I can barely see it. I tried turning it off, but the touchscreen isn't working Is there anything I can do?
  • Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
