What should I expect of 7th grade?

I'm about to go into my second year of middle school, and I have no clue on what I should I expect. Let me add that I go to a Catholic school were they call the middle school, "The Academy." That should give you a hint that my school is filled with a bunch of snooty rich kids, who all have the iPhone 6 while I have a flip phone.

Some of the stories I see on here, I wish happened. Like we don't date, (Well the year ahead of us does), but I'm afraid everyone will have finally gone hormone crazy this year. I'm pretty much more developed than everyone, mentally and physically, if you know what I mean.

Also they added a middle school dance for the 7th and 8th graders. I'm really afraid everyone is going to turn into the stereotypical 7th grader. Sometimes I feel like I'm the most mature person there. Should I be afraid of 7th grade?

To be quite honest, you shouldn't be scared! At the moment -yes- it may be scary and etc. However, you just need to work hard and you do you! If there are bullies stand up and tell an adult. Anyways about the iPhone 6 business first of all, it's not all that great. There are too many unnecessary features! And it's better off to not worry about it. It's a phone for goodness sake! Lastly, there will be the 7th version. I doubt they will get a 7 that soon if they just got the 6. Anyways good luck!
AND Please! Just worry about your grades. It's the reason why you go to school. Not to show off what type of clothes or phone you have. Have an awesome first day/year!

PS. Please don't be doing any inappropriate things. OBVIOUSLY, I do not know you, but so many people at the school I went to got in trouble bc they did things they weren't supposed to do. (Hopefully I don't have to explain further)

Seventh grade is literally one of the easiest years. I'm going into grade 9 and I'm a little nervous but grade seven is absolutely nothing! Academics are all you should care about and not what other people think of you. Just focus on your grades and knowing who your true friends are and you should have a great year!

Yes, I definitely get where you are coming from! 7th grade wasn't too crazy for me, but hormone crazy or not, a lot of the kids at my school are plain immature. Being the most mature can be pretty hard, but I assume you've got some friends of sane nature. People will probably turn into those "stereotypical" teenagers, but you just have to learn to live with it. As long as you find your niche you can totally block all of the craziness out. Don't be nervous for school, as much as it can seem pretty complicated and convoluted at times, in the end you'll have your little group of friends and you'll carve out this year the way it fits you. Focus on your academics and just refrain from talking. Most of the time no one will really bother you. Anyway good luck with this year!
