What should my first beauty/fashion guru video be about?
I want your 100% honest tips, no judgmental / discouraging comments either.
Okay so, I'm 15 (African American female) and I know it's kind of an older age to want to start making beauty/fashion videos on YouTube since most girls starts at 11-13 yrs old.
I wanted to make the videos but I was contemplating the Idea because I was afraid that people at my school would soon find out and make fun of/ bully me for the videos.
• But I also wanted to start making videos because I noticed that there aren't as many fashion/beauty guru's like me and are that my age and are African American/ Black. Whatever.)
Like my videos wouldn't be "ghetto" or I wouldn't curse or act loud/ wild or anything else that people have stereo types about young black girls… I would just be myself! (:
Don't get me wrong i LOVE watching other girls videos of a different ethnicity and/or race of mine, but it would be nice to see someone who I could relate to, get it?
• Also another thing; I don't have an expensive camera like Nikon/Canon. So I have to use my iphone 4. And I don't have a Mac PC with iMovie so I have to use Windows Movie Maker 7, it sucks so bad. And I heard ppl like good quality videos, and I'm 'afraid' I won't have that…

Just start with a simple makeup look or an introduction video! And don't worry about quality. I use a cheap flip camera and Windows Movie Maker, and it works fine! Getting started is hard, so just try to get yourself out there. You might feel annoying, but it's honestly the only way to start! Well everyone has to start somewhere, so it's okay if you have low quality videos at first, you can just build from there. I think a good first video would a "Get Ready With Me", just because it would involve both beauty and fashion.It'd also be a good introduction to your style, like if you're grunge or chic or whatever.

- Would you use this fashion app? - 1 If there were an iPhone app that told you the weather, and the outfit that would be best for it, would that be an app you would find useful? - Will iPhone 4/4S go out of fashion? So since iPhone 4/4S's can be found pretty cheaply now especially on eBay, I was wondering if it was worth getting an iPhone 5. When will the iPhone 4 go out of style/fashion and be frowned upon like using an iPhone 3G.
- What are good fashion games/apps for iPhone? Oh and FREE. Maybe similar to Top Stylist or Fashion Icon. I like that you can enter events so maybe an app that allows that. The reason I'm not playing those games is because they won't load after their updates:/ Any ideas?
